Lafayette—Ruby Foster Hack, 80, 525 Elston Road, Lafayette, died at 6:58 a.m. Friday, June 23, 1989 in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, where she had been a patient one week.

  She was born Feb. 7, 1909 in Talbot. She was married May 23, 1942 in Crawfordsville to John P. Hack who survives and is a resident of St. Anthony Healthcare.

  She graduated from Boswell High School in 1926 and also graduated from Lafayette Business College. She was a bookkeeper several years and had worked at Fred Rule Hardware, William Taylor Implement Co. and Kirby Risk Electric Co.
  She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

  Surviving besides her husband are two brothers, Don C. Foster, Lafayette, and Dale R. Foster, Boswell; a sister, Elizabeth F. Krieg, Lafayette; one niece, Carol Krieg Carlson, and four nephews, Dick and David Krieg and George and Herbert Foster. She was preceded in death by a sister.

  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today in Soller-Baker Lafayette chapel with Father Ray Chappa, OFM, officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.- thanks to S
